New Vision Baltic summer days 2007 |
In early September, the numerous New Vision team from all three Baltic countries celebrated the close of summer. Having become traditional, this time the event was held in Varemurru, a small town on the Estonian seacoast.
The summer festival is a teambuilding event where co-workers have a chance to know each other better and socialise in a team-working atmosphere and the out-of-office environment.
In the previous years, teambuilding sessions used to cover physical contests and assignments. New Vision staff would test themselves and their endurance and mutual trust when working as a team.
This year the summer festival appeared in a totally different format than in the years before. There were no physical contests. Divided into small groups, the team had to create a short film in the specific genre. Each participant was not only actor, but also member of the film crew, who contributed to the successful and fluent teamwork: director, scriptwriter, sound editor, costume designer, etc. Although focused on teamwork, this unique touch of the event also stirred people's creativity and artistic skills, bringing superb results under ordinary everyday conditions.
Apart from undergoing useful training, the New Vision team enjoyed excellent recreation at the Estonian seacoast.
