New Vision uses certified installation methodology which defines the manner of successfully providing the clients with technological solutions:1. Analysis
The project analysis stage deals with the review of business processes and system requirements. The principal outcome provided by this stage is the Functional Requirements Document (FRD) coordinated with the client. This document tells both, the client and system installer what should be done in the Company to adapt Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision and GoPro Retail to specific needs of the client. The key actions of the analysis stage shall be as follows:
- Planning and preparation of the project;
- Analysis of the Company's information flows and processes;
- Drafting and coordination of the Functional Requirements Document.
The designing stage covers the development and furnishing of the design for installation of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision and GoPro Retail at the client's workstation. The offered system design is provided in the System Design Document which is coordinated with the client and accompanied by software demonstration. The System Design Document tells the installer how to realise the works provided for in the Functional Requirements Document and informs the client about the outcome which he will receive. The client (where appropriate) is provided with a coordinated and updated Installation Offer, including budget estimate and design implementation schedule.
The Offer constitutes the amendment to the Chapter "Offer Estimate" of this document and will be enclosed in the form of annex.
3. Programming and installation
This stage involves performance and testing of the necessary programming works, completion of software installation works and training of employees.
4. Operation testing
Operation testing covers the works of final system setting. The following source data (if applicable) are entered or imported to the system: chart of accounts, nomenclature of products/services, nomenclature of suppliers/clients, and list of fixed assets. The system is subject to active maintenance which lasts for a few weeks and involves correction of detected faults.
5. Maintenance
During this stage the installer carries out system maintenance - consults the client by phone, fax and e-mail.
